Why Become a Member?
Some of the finest cultural education in the dance world on the East Coast today is taking place at the Classical Ballet Theatre in the Herndon/Reston area, where high standards are combined with a commitment to producing the next generation of young emerging artists in a positive, enriching environment. The Classical Ballet Theatre is a much respected institution of dance education, offering instruction and opportunity to students ranging from pre-school to post graduate levels and adults.
Like Northern Virginia itself, the Classical Ballet Theatre represents many things to many people. But above all else, the Classical Ballet Theatre is a community of dancers who experience the joy, the promise, the pursuit of dance excellence. Every day, we celebrate the teaching, learning, choreography and performance of dance. That has been our proud mission for almost 25 years.
And over the past twenty five years, Classical Ballet Theatre has trained beautiful dance artists who have gone on to professional careers with the San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Washington Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Zurich Ballet, Martha Graham, Alvin Ailey and more.
Tuition and fees only cover 63% of our annual budget. For a minimal fee each month you can become a vital patron of our organization and assure that Classical Ballet Theatre can continue to maintain its high standards, traditions and service to the community.
