Class Requirements
2012-2013 Class Requirements
All levels have required classes which are covered by tuition. Additional classes may be taken as authorized by the director.
Pre-Professional
Pre-Professional may take unlimited classes but are required to take the following:
- 4 Pre-Professional Technique
- 1 Pre-Professional Pointe
- Senior Company
- Saturday Conditioning Class
- Modern, Hip Hop/Jazz and Yoga are optional
- Specialty classes (Flamenco & Broadway Ballet) may be added for a nominal fee.
- Contemporary Company (by invitation)
Advanced
Advanced may take unlimited classes but are required to take the following:
- 4 Advanced Technique
- 1 Advanced Pointe
- Senior Company
- Modern, Hip Hop/Jazz and Yoga are optional
- Contemporary Company (by invitation)
Intermediate
Intermediate may take unlimited classes but are required to take the following:
- 3 Intermediate Technique
- Modern, Hip Hop/Jazz and Yoga are optional
- Junior Company
- Specialty classes (Flamenco & Broadway Ballet) may be added for a nominal fee.
- Contemporary Company (by invitation)
Pinky and Cavalier
- 4 Pinky/Cavalier Technique
- Pinky Pointe
- Modern
- Junior Company
- Specialty classes (Flamenco, Hip Hop/Jazz, Broadway Ballet) may be added for a nominal fee.
Ballet 4
- 3 Ballet 3/4 Technique
- Ballet 4 Pointe Class
- Modern
- Specialty classes (Flamenco, Hip Hop/Jazz, Broadway Ballet) may be added for a nominal fee.
Ballet 3
- 3 Ballet 3/4 Technique
- Specialty classes (Flamenco, Hip Hop/Jazz, Broadway Ballet) may be added for a nominal fee.
Ballet 2
- 2 Ballet 2 Technique
Ballet 1
- 2 Ballet 1 Technique
Boys
- 1 Boys Class Technique
- Boys wanting to perform must take the number of classes required of his level. The Boys Class may be substituted for one of the required classes or taken in addition to the required classes.
